Deric Hartigan is TV Presenter & Documentary Producer at TV3 Television Ireland. He is also Weather Forecaster and Presenter. In addition to his work with 3e and TV3, the sporty star is the men’s editor with RSVP magazine and is the national director of the Mister International Ireland & Great Britain competitions.

The Limerick native Deric is also a qualified farmer and graduated from the University of Limerick with a BA in Applied Languages and a Postgraduate Diploma in French and Spanish.

Prior to TV3 Deric worked as a butler in Bunratty Castle and secondary school language teacher.

Being an outdoor enthusiast, Deric took part in major sporting events such as recently competed in the Killarney Adventure race, a strenuous 60km course including cycling, running and kayaking and the London triathlon.

Deric travelled to the Indian city of Kolkata to film the lives of locals in the notoriously poor and over-populated city for his documentary 'The Real Slum Dogs - Journey of Hope'. After this experience he is looking into other projects and possibly going out to film in Jordan, Syria or maybe Rwanda.
